About The Book Elevation Chamber

In Elevation Chamber the reader follows the main character through a dismal, dystopian world where they alone appear to see the true horrors of the world around them. Tossed into this world without memory and learning about it as it is simultaneously introduced to the the reader, allows for a fuller integration of reader and the novel. Ms Taylor invites you to question what is truly moral and what is society says is moral and come to your own conclusions.

Inspired by a dream, Elevation Chamber speaks volumes about society and the people within. Many are willing to look the other way or go along with everybody else simply because it is what the group is doing, so few are willing to think for themselves and make their own decisions. Elevation Chamber addresses this, for far too often unless an extreme is put forth before people they are unwilling to see the slippery slope, thus in an attempt to urge and warn people of the dangers of conformity for acceptance sake. Ms Taylor follows the shoes of many others by using an unconventional extremism to point this out. In doing so she has tossed the idea of what many may see as an elevation on its head.

“Although nomenclature is incredibly important to society as a whole for means of communication the beauty of it is when one can twist a thought or idea, developing double entendres, plural meanings, or twist it into
something entirely new because no two minds are identical. That is the beauty of perception, though people may claim to perceive things identically so as to gain acceptance, no two minds will ever completely agree on every issue, nor should they. Embrace who you are; from your thoughts, beliefs, dreams, and morals. Do not care for opinions of flocks of sheep, for there are already too many of those. That is one of my most ardent desires for people to learn from Elevation Chamber.”
